A message from General Manager/CEO Randell Meyers: Returning to Standard Operations

Effective November 1, 2020, Powell Valley Electric Cooperative shall resume policies that were suspended in March through October regarding disconnections for nonpayment and late fees on electric accounts with past due balances. As a member-owned, nonprofit utility, Powell Valley Electric Cooperative realizes our services are vital to our community during these times of uncertainty, and we are working to maintain affordable and dependable services for all.

Therefore, Powell Valley Electric urges members financially impacted by COVID-19 and unable to pay their bill to seek assistance by calling their local energy assistance office.  This information can be found on our website.  The member is still responsible for payment until Powell Valley Electric Cooperative receives the payment or a notice of the energy assistance pledge.

If you are facing hardship due to COVID-19 and are unable to obtain assistance, we encourage you to contact us to inquire about arrangements, as Powell Valley Electric Cooperative continues to work with our community and those struggling financially.
