Green Flex is a program that allows businesses and industries within the Tennessee Valley to purchase out-of-Valley wind renewable energy certificates (RECs). RECs provide a simple way for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to clean, renewable energy. Each REC represents one megawatt-hour (MWh) of renewable energy generated and delivered to the power grid.
